Project Description

Implantology

Unitary implant

The unitary implant is the best method to replace the loss of a tooth. It consists of placing a titanium screw in the bone that will work as the root of the lost tooth and on that screw we will place the crown that perfectly imitates the original tooth in both aesthetics and function.
Dr Alberto Salgado is a university specialist in oral surgery and dental implants by the Complutense University of Madrid and is dedicated exclusively to these specialties.

Fixed prostheses with implants

Fixed prostheses with implants allows us to replace the loss of several teeth or even the loss of all the teeth. First, a number of implants are placed, depending on the case, it could reach up to 6-8 when the prosthesis replaces all the teeth of the jaw, upper or lower. Once the screws have been placed, following a period of healing, the implants will be fitted with the final crowns that will allow us to return to the patient the aesthetics and function of her teeth.

Overdenture with implants

Overdentures with implants are a way to solve the loss of all the teeth on either jaw. Thanks to this method we can place 2 to 4 implants to retain a total prosthesis so that the patient can return to eat, smile … They would be indicated in patients who have lost all their teeth or will lose them and can not place more implants.
The prosthesis would be retained by means of a bracket-type anchoring system that allows us to remove the prosthesis to clean the implants.

Bone regeneration

Bone deficiencies, where teeth have been lost can be due to, a lack of bone growth over multiple years and from periodontitis or periodontal disease.
As a result there are deformities in the alveolar bone, which are unstable and are often accompanied by an insufficient volume of bone to place dental implants. Guided bone regeneration is a regenerative technique used in implantology to correct and treat alveolar bone defects. The implantologist applies bone regeneration techniques when there is not enough bone in order to place the dental implants.

The dental bone regeneration techniques used, allow the implantologist to achieve an adequate alveolar bone morphology for aesthetic or functional purposes. Followed by the placement of the dental implants in the ideal position for a 100% natural prosthetic restoration.
At Salgado Dental Clinic, we use bone regeneration techniques in implants, as a barrier to isolate and create a protected space for the placement of implants, thus allowing the organization of a blood clot and preventing collapse caused by the pressure of a mucoperiosteal flap. This barrier used in the dental bone regeneration allows the migration of bone progenitor cells in the space or areas that we want to correct, resulting in the formation of new bone.
